We offer several courses in Polish. First Year Polish is for students with little or no knowledge of Polish. Second Year Polish is for students who have taken Polish 102 or who have some knowledge of reading and writing (placement tests are required). These courses are offered on a rotating basis: First Year Polish is offered every other year. Advanced Polish is offered as often as possible for students with advanced knowledge of Polish (reading, writing, speaking, oral comprehension). Advanced Polish is usually devoted to a specific topic. Previous topics have included Contemporary Polish Film, Polish Literature, and High and Low in Polish Film and Literature.
